Meet the Author
No one tells you the hardest part of being an author is probably writing your author bio.…IT’S SO HARD!! Talking about myself feels so awkward!
Okay, here we go! I joined the Air Force at 17 (a million years ago) and served 4 years. I did NOT fly planes, but I did sit at a desk in a cushy chair and met a lot of cool people!
I partied a little too hard in my 20s, so I don’t remember a lot of that (thank God!). I now have two beautiful children and am married to my little brother’s best friend (brother’s best friend trope, anyone??)
I spend my free time flirting with my hubby, annoying the crap out of my kiddos, and reading books that make the best of us blush. The town I live in has a population of 500 people and is so small it doesn't even have a stoplight, but I love it (even though the closest Barnes and Noble is an hour away).
I waited until I was 43 to write my first book because I didn’t think I was capable. Normal people can’t be authors, can they? Turns out they can be!! I wanted to show my kids that self doubt doesn’t need to define you, so after months of hard work, I wrote and published my first novel. Life is crazy and you’re never too old to chase your dreams!!
